Records Before moving from one variety to another or from one record to another, it's necessary to understand the layout of records. It's best to think of the record page as two columns. At the top of the left column you'll find country, normal catalogue number and date of issue details. Directly underneath is the normal image associated with the record while below the image are record navigation icons. Below this is a panel containing details of the normal stamp, a list of the various varieties associated with the stamp, and a selection of additional images.
The top right column has a flag and map associated with the record. By default the first variety (if one exists) associated with the normal stamp is displayed underneath the flag and map. Following this are controls to jump back and forth between varieties associated with the normal stamp and a drop down menu allowing you to change the currency used for displaying variety values. The panel underneath displays details of the variety, including known quantity and value.
Navigating varieties Each normal stamp (displayed on the left side of the screen) may have one or more associated varieties. By default the first variety is always displayed on the right of the screen. It's possible to flip between varieties associated with a normal stamp by clicking on Prev or Next in the right column or by clicking on the name of the variety under Varieties in the information panel in the left column.
Navigating records Below the normal image in the left column are controls for jumping rapidly to the next, previous, first, last or any record in between by clicking on the appropriate number or icon. It's also possible to return to the results page and select another record from there.
Additional Images Extra images associated with the normal stamp and/or any of its varieties listed under Additional Images can be viewed in a separate window by clicking on the appropriate line of text. Once the Additional Images window is open, it's possible to move backwards and forwards between images associated with the record by clicking on Prev or Next located at the bottom of the window.
